The Human Rights Unit at the College of Basic Education / Shirqat is one of the important units concerned with promoting awareness of human rights issues within the academic community. The Unit aims to consolidate the principles of justice, equality and respect for human dignity through educational and awareness activities, in addition to supporting initiatives that contribute to spreading the culture of human rights among students and faculty members.

The Unit organizes workshops and training courses on human rights, as well as contributes to the preparation of relevant studies and research to promote a deep understanding of human rights concepts within the educational context. It also seeks to cooperate with human rights institutions to promote social responsibility and consolidate the values of citizenship.
